    Project Background

    JD Digital is the earliest team established in JD, with a scale of 500 people. In the past two years, the performance of the team reached the target, but the middle-level cadres and employees of the team left seriously.


    Challenge of the Project

    The team is in urgent need of rectification, shifting its attention from "performance" to "people", focusing more on the atmosphere of the team and talent growth. After further evaluations, the management has identified the "executive 1v1 coach" as the main way to kick off the senior leadership improvement project.


    Project Design Ideas

    Y2019: 1v1 executive coaching service for 6 senior executives in 6 months, 8 hours for each person;


    Y2020: 1v1 executive coaching service for 15 senior executives(6+9 new executives) in 6 months, 8 hours for each person


    Project Outcome

    Significant improvement was shown in the 360 leadership assessment from the team. Different changes in executives' behavior were being reported: less criticism and notification, more listening and questioning, more patient in staff mentoring, more frequent 1v1 communication with subordinates... 


    We were also being told and really felt that the team morale is significantly improved, team leaders support each other, creating a new team atmosphere, staffs feel "warm Jingdong Digital" is back.
