    Project Background

    Alibaba Group has established for more than 20 years. It has been paying close attention to building corporate culture and values, and the coaching culture is a very important part of it. 


    In order to help a new generation of managers strengthen "coach style leadership", in year of 2022, our team is being introduced into Alibaba, to make full use of our team's rich experience and methodology in business coaching and help for coaching culture landing in every business unit and empower business for the realization of the 2036 vision, which is to service 2 billion consumers around the world, help 10 million small and medium-sized enterprises profit and create 100 million jobs.


    Challenge of the Project

    With the rapid development of the group's business, more and more new generation of managers need to lead the team to achieve strategic goals in important positions. Due to the rapid promotion and the lack of accumulation of management experience, the prominent challenges of VUCA era, it is particularly important to cultivate managers to face the uncertain with open-minded, positive attitude, result-oriented way of thinking and the ability of agile collaborative execution.


    Project Design Ideas

    We designed tailored made coaching project for different business segments in Alibaba with different combination of service types :


    •  "coach style leadership" 1-2 day offline courses

    • 2 hours live online class for every 2 weeks

    • 4 weeks practice homework + review & comment

    • 2-3 times online coach coaching

    • team coaching workshop for business challenges of the team


    help managers improve cognitionand transformation awareness


    Project Outcome

    The feedback to our projects from attendees: interesting, easy to understand, simple and practical, and being inspired from cases or stories shared by our coaches. 


    Alibaba group has raised the request to us for cultivating more internal "seed" coaches in 2023, building an internal coach system and train more "performance coaches" to form a benign self-circulation system.
