In today’s complex workplace, organizations increasingly recognize the power of teams to innovate and drive their business or mission forward. Now more than ever, more and more companies are turning to team coaches to harness a team’s collective expertise, energy and wisdom to advance their efforts and achieve greater results.

It’s pleased to announced that Sunrising PEAK Team Coaching Program was the Advanced Accreditation in Team Coach (AATC ) Course authorized and recognized by ICF (International Coaching Federation) in early 2023.

    What

The program maximizes team-coaching results by integrating the eight ICF core competencies with the PEAK Model and PEAK Dialogue process. It consists of four steps: P, E, A and K.P stands for Purpose and People, E stands for Explore and Experience, A stands for Action and Awareness, K stands for Key factors and Key Learning, and the combination of the four initial letters PEAK means peak dialogue. The light lines of PEAK are P (Purpose), E (Explore and Experience), A (Action), and K (Key factors), that is about things and processes, focusing on what problems to solve and what results to achieve. The dark lines of PEAK are P (People), E (Empower), A (Awareness), and K (Key Learning), that is the heart and team energy that focuses on resolving conflicts, enhancing team self-awareness, and creating team synergy. The light and dark lines of PEAK alternate and change flexibly at any time. On the one hand, the coach focuses on how to solve problems, while also observing the team's conflict, energy, motivation, and inspiration. Team coaches often see and hear from all sides, so their ability to listen is both broad and deep. When the coach's state is both focused and relaxed, it is natural to achieve extensive and in-depth listening.

By earning the ACTC, candidates demonstrate that they have met the rigorous standards of ICF – the most globally recognized certification body for coach practitioners. They also demonstrate the value they offer to teams and organizations through their independently verified advanced skills, expertise and experience.

With the AATC, the coach practitioners prove they are competent and capable of providing the complex skills required for effective team coaching, including:

    • Distinguishing team coaching from other team development modalities

    • Managing the complex dynamics and patterns unique to teams

    • Partnering with a variety of stakeholders to establish team coaching agreements

    • Supporting teams in the development of effective communication and collaboration skills

    • Partnering with teams to develop a sense of common identity and purpose

    • Collaborating with teams to support conflict resolution

    • Promoting a team’s autonomy and long-term sustainability

    How

The program will be delivered in face-to-face sessions of theory teaching, complemented by online supervision of individual and group coaches. It comprises 3 modules to be covered in a total of 60 hours, including 30-hour face-to-face session plus 30-hour practice and group coach supervision on-line. In each session our experienced team of assistant coaches will give each student 5-hour one-on-one team coach supervision. The practical process effectively helps all participants understand and master the 8 core competencies of team coaching, more effectively enlightening, supporting, and motivating teams to achieve goals, and achieving team growth.

    Who

With the AATC through ICF Coaching Education, you will be able to demonstrate that your education meets the necessary requirements needed to prepare coaches for this complex discipline. Plus, this accreditation aligns with the requirements of the ICF Advanced Certification in Team Coaching, so individual coach practitioners, who hold an active ICF credential at the associate certified coach (ACC), professional certified coach (PCC) or master certified coach (MCC) level, will have a straightforward, simple education path towards achieving this advanced certification.
